New Links

While hubby is chatting away on the phone after a hard days work I am updating my links. I've wanted to for a long time. So take a look and there might be something of interest to you. I've placed them under "Check these out".
I've been checking out ideas for Christmas trimmings since we are without those. On the Christmas craft site there are some very inexpensive ways to deck our halls this year, I just have to get up the gumption to get crafty. That really doesn't happen very often! And there are some great looking treats I'll want to try as well.
Now it's beddy-bye time and I've got a pillow calling my name. :)

I am printing out Christmas Carols on parchment paper, then either burning the edges or rolling them for tree hangings. Add some hanging candles (not to be lit!) and some gingerbread ornaments, and we've got a fun, CHEAP country-charm Christmas tree. Also I've dried some fruit, and can get inexpensive berries at the Buck or Two. We actually have quite a lot of Christmas decorations, but I always buy mine when they are 75% or more off. We've been able to do the Christmas thing quite cheaply, while also having some variety.

BJ, Thanks for the ideas! I'm waiting every so patiently for those boxing day sales in Jan when I will stock up on some great tree ornaments. I'm starting to get the feeling that I'll like that 'cheap country-charm' look though, and won't be tempted to buy stuff. :)

I love the cheap country charm look! We used to string popcorn all the time when we were kids and hang it on the tree. That and cranberries make great tree trimmings!
